#WithSyria 3 Years On

It’s now three years since the start of the Syrian conflict. Last Saturday marked the exact date that protests against Syrian president Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian government began in 2011.To mark the anniversary, show solidarity with the Syrian people and in a bid for peace, the #WithSyria campaign was formed. More than 100 aid organisations and NGOs around the world have united for the campaign which aims to prevent a fourth year anniversary of the conflict.

Charities such as CAFOD have urged supporters to pray for peace, UNICEF have highlighted the reality of life for Syrian children affected by the conflict and Banksy has reworked his There is Always Hope piece, incorporating the #WithSyria hashtag.
