Last night, the stars of the one of the most talked about shows, Girls, were joined by celebrity fans and journalists for the season three UK launch.
The first two episodes of season three, which will premiere in the UK on Monday 20 January at 10pm on Sky Atlantic, were screened at the event and there was panel discussion afterwards.
If you’re yet to watch the first two seasons of Girls you may want to quickly order the box sets off Amazon and pretty much constantly watch them to be ready for season three next week. The show is about a group of twenty-something female friends and their awkward (sometimes very awkward), touching and extremely relatable experiences of friendship, love and life. Not only is the show really funny, it’s also the perfect thing to be watching while your snuggling up in bed and battling through dry January. (Who goes out during January anyway?)
Despite missing out at this year’s Golden Globes, 2014 hasn’t started off too badly for Girls writer, director and star, Lena Dunham, as she’s bagged herself a Vogue cover. Vogue’s February cover calls Lena “the new queen of comedy” and while there are a number of very funny ladies on the scene right now, few will take issue with Lena being heralded as comedy royalty.
There have been rumours about the cover for a while, but it’s finally here. Check out some of the looks from the shoot and the cover itself below.
