Lazy Oaf and Kickers have teamed up to create some proper nice kicks. The collaboration launched last week Thursday at the Lazy Oaf store on Ganton Street, London.
Despite being the creation of a fashionable Frenchman there’s something so British about Kickers because of their association with our childhood. Pretty much a staple of every British child’s wardrobe at one stage or another, there’s no doubting that they’re a classic.
If you’re into colour, print and cartoons then you’ll love Lazy Oaf. Created in 2001 by Gemma Shiel the brand makes bold and quirky clothing and accessories for men and women. Imagine all your happy, distant 90s memories got together and threw a party, that’s Lazy Oaf.
If you like what you see below head down to their London shop (complete with polka dot exterior). You can also find Lazy Oaf items on Asos.
Tapping into one of this season’s biggest trends-Monochrome these cuties let you work black and white in a fun way, Lazy Oaf X Kickers Kick Lazy Brogue £125.
Ok ok I have a thing for polka dots so am totally biased in thinking that these are beautiful, but they are. These cuties are complete outfit eclipses so I would keep everything else pretty plain. That doesn’t mean no colour, I‘d definitely go yellow to make the laces pop even more or red for the same reason, Lazy Oaf X Kickers Kick Lay Dotty £115.
It’s official flatforms have taken over and the style works really well with Lazy Oaf’s nostalgic feel. Pair these with some denim and you’ll be a tall-walking 90s babe, Lazy Oaf X Kickers Kick Lazy Lite £125.
The Lazy Oaf X Kickers collection is available to buy now on www.lazyoaf.co.uk and in store. With only 500 pairs per style you’d better be quick if you want to get your hands on them. Check out the collection video featuring The Bloom Twins, Anna and Sonya Kupriienko here.
